Be a child.

Hi there 👋🏼,

So I went to see the movie ‘The David Adventure’ in the cinema with a friend and her kid.

Honestly 😅 everyone needs to watch that movie.

Throughout the engagements for the day, I could help but notice one of my friend's children just seated still.

Unlike his brothers and little sister, this boy just refused to enjoy the moment and the presence.

His dad came to pick us up after the movie for shopping. But oh boy!

Raphael still wasn't having it….

That child practically had all his favourite toys and snacks in his cute little shopping cart. Yet he didn't seem as excited as his sister who only got a small cup of ice cream, regardless of her desired toy being out of stock.

I couldn't take it anymore. I had to find out what really could be troubling his little mind (the mind of a six year old).

“Well Aunty…” He said as though he just retired from civil service. “My school fees are due and if I do not pay up, I may not be able to learn in school next week Monday”.

I could not believe it just came out from a six year old whose parents just showed him with love. Doesn't he understand his parents would do much more to protect and provide even for his school fees?…

This gently reminds me of a scripture for you: He did not spare his own Son but gave him for us all. So with Jesus, God will surely give us all things. —Romans 8:32

YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD! If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you certainly are.

But why a child? Because children are bound to grow, parents are bound to provide and protect their children, and children trust and obey everything their parents tell them.

My friend, be a child. Do not forget to grow in love through God's word so all fear can be cast.

Because… Then Jesus called for the children and said to the disciples, ” Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these. —Luke 18:16
